New Orleans Blue Marie

One of my unique one of a kind creations. This plate is made with a 12 inch Yamaka Masquerade Blue dinner plate, a 10 inch blue coach Johnson brother dinner plate ,6 inch vintage blue dessert plate5 inch glass candy dish, and a brooch pin. They are put together by hand drilling the plates for extra stability. They also have a strong industrial adhesive that is waterproof and weatherproof.  They are put together with rubber washers bolts and nuts. These flowers never need watering or sun, but I do recommend that they be stored indoors in the winter. It is attached at the back with a nut and bolt. We include a 24” copper tube mounting stake assembly for outdoor display. It can also be displayed indoors on a plate easel. Each plate is one of a kind and put together with repurposed plates, vintage glass and assorted baubles. My husband and I sourced these creations through auction, thrift stores and rummage. We had so much fun and learned so much about vintage dishes and glass along the way. The perfect combination of creativity and shopping two things I love. This flower reminds me of the time spent in New Orleans with its strong French culture and vintage European looks.
